Swim Team
The Auburn YMCA Stingrays swim team is a year-round competitive swim club that offers high-quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. Since competitive swimming is both a highly individual and team sport, the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development are stressed.
Creative Writing
For over 40 years, the YMCA National Writers Voice program has brought high-quality literary arts programming to Y's across the country, creating unique spaces where aspiring writers can learn to craft stories, poems, and more.
Y-Pals Mentoring
Y-Pals is a mentoring program for at-risk youth that offers both community-based and school-based programs. The community-based program is always looking for youth-minded individuals to volunteer their time and energy to mentor a child. Volunteers commit to being a role model at least twice a month for one year.
Adult Sports
At the YMCA, we strive to provide the best possible sports experience, whether you’re four years old or forty! Friendly competition, skill development, and fun are emphasized, along with sportsmanship, fair play, and positive attitudes. YMCA sports programs provide a wholesome, values-oriented atmosphere for all family members.
