About Camp Y - Owasco

Camp Y Owasco is a treasured community resource that provides both day and resident camp experiences for youth in our region. Situated on approximately 2,800 feet of pristine frontage along Owasco Lake, the camp offers a unique outdoor setting where children can connect with nature, build friendships, and develop lifelong skills.

In 2025, Camp Y Owasco proudly served 768 children, providing meaningful summer experiences that promote confidence, independence, and personal growth. Throughout the season, the camp also delivered over 3,600 meals, ensuring that every child was supported with nutritious food in a safe and welcoming environment.

While Camp Y Owasco has had a lasting impact on generations of families, the facility is long overdue for significant investment to ensure it can continue serving our community at the highest level. To address this need and position the camp for the future, we are proud to launch the Camp Y-Owasco Transformation Campaign—an initiative focused on revitalizing the camp’s infrastructure, enhancing program spaces, and preserving this special place for generations to come.

Through its programming, natural setting, and renewed vision for the future, Camp Y Owasco continues to play a vital role in strengthening our community by investing in the health, development, and well-being of our youth.
