PRESCHOOL
The YMCA Preschool integrates the Y facilities and programs to combine education and recreation for a stimulating preschool experience. Traditional preschool concepts (number/letter recognition, social skills, arts and crafts) are emphasized, combined with weekly swim lessons, music lessons, and gym time. We plan field trips and family events and enjoy having parents join us when they can.

Half Day Program
3-year-olds Only - Must turn 3 by 12/1/2024

Full Day Program

The Auburn YMCA is a universal pre-K site. Is your child turning 3 or 4 years old by December 1, 2023? Do you live in the Auburn School District? Then, your child is eligible to attend preschool for FREE! The NYS Department of Education pays for this program. For more information, click here.
BEFORE AND AFTER PRESCHOOL CARE
For children enrolled in Full-day 3's, 4’s, 3 PK, or UPK
A fun, game-filled program in a safe environment for your child. Activities include snacks, arts and crafts, gym games, and small group activities.

Ages 18 Months - 3 Years
Monday -Friday 6:45am -5:30pm
Full-day toddler program for children aged 18 months to 3 years. This program will specialize in parallel play, transitioning to cooperative play experiences with other children. Socialization, toilet training, and developmentally appropriate practices surrounding learning. Counting, colors, and shapes, as well as cutting and gluing, will be skills that will be emphasized and concentrated on during their time in this classroom.
This room is limited to 10 children.

The Auburn YMCA-WEIU offers a quality summer program at the Y. Operated in accordance with the YMCA’s goals of Healthy Living, Youth Development and Social Responsibility.
Licensed by New York State and staffed by caring, qualified child care professionals, we strive to ensure that children are safe, happy, and involved in amazing learning experiences throughout the summer. Children are provided with breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Please send your child with a water bottle and sneakers each day.

*Child Care Assistance (DSS) Programs: The YMCA accepts day care assistance payments from the department of Social Services. Financial Assistance/Program Scholarship applications will not be considered until an award or denial-letter from a DSS caseworker is provided at time of Registration.
