The YMCA Preschool integrates the Y facilities and programs to combine both education and recreation for a stimulating preschool experience. Traditional preschool concepts are emphasized such as number and letter recognition, social skills, arts and craft combined with weekly swim lessons, music lessons and gym time. The Auburn Y offers morning (9:00-11:30am) and afternoon (11:30–2:00pm) classes with 2, 3, and 5-day options. We plan field trips, family events and enjoy having parents join us when they can!
UPK & 3PK
The Auburn YMCA is an Universal Pre-K site. Is your child turning 3 or 4 years old by December 1, 2020? Do you live in the Auburn School District? Then your child is eligible to attend preschool for FREE! This program is paid for by the NYS Department of Education. For more information click here.
TERRIFIC TWO'S PROGRAM
The Terrific Twos Program emphasizes sharing, caring, and most of all fun! Age-appropriate projects, activities, playtime and healthy snacks will keep everyone busy and smiling. Child must be two by December 1 to attend. Program begins in September and continues through June. Classes are offered: Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 9:00am-11:30am or Monday-Friday 9:00-11:30am.
BEFORE AND AFTER PRESCHOOL CARE
The YMCA Before and After School program provides children enrolled in our full day 3's, 4’s , 3 PK or UPK program, a fun, game-filled program in a safe environment for your child. Activities include snacks, arts and crafts, gym games, and small group activities.
The Auburn Y’s Kinder Kamp program provides children, hours of fun lead by a caring staff. Daily swim lessons, age-appropriate crafts, learning opportunities,playtime and healthy snacks keep everyone happy and smiling.
